Common questions about how Spendical works.
Do you store my PDF files?
No. Your uploaded PDFs are processed in memory and immediately discarded. We never store the original files. Only the extracted, structured transaction data is saved to your account.
Who can see my data?
Only you. Your extracted data is tied to your authenticated account and is never shared with third parties, used for advertising, or sold. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time.
How does the AI parsing work?
We use large language models to read your PDF and extract structured data — merchant names, amounts, dates, and categories. The document content is sent to the AI model for processing and is not retained by the model after extraction.
What happens if parsing fails?
If the AI cannot parse your document, the job is marked as failed and no credit is deducted. You only pay for successful parses.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits you purchase never expire. Use them at your own pace.
What is your refund policy?
We offer a full, no-questions-asked refund within 7 days of any credit purchase. After 7 days, unused credits can still be refunded. Used credits are non-refundable since the AI processing cost has already been incurred. Failed parses never cost credits. See our full refund policy for details.
